14.3 HH Grey Gelding
If you are looking for a multi-discipline horse that can do it all, Jerry is your man.
Jerry has been used in a lesson program for all ages and abilities, where his smooth gaits and smaller stride make him ideal for learning on. He maintains excellent body control in the arena and can be ridden at all three gaits on a loose rein.
Jerry can collect at all gaits, side pass, neck rein, open gates, and is currently working on his flying lead changes. Although he has never been jumped in our program, I suspect he would make a very cute hunter and is the perfect prospect for Pony Club or 4-H. He would even make a wonderful smaller vaulting horse or a fun gymkhana horse.
This gorgeous gelding has done extensive trail riding in the mountains, been camping, and is familiar with the day-to-day barn experience including dogs, quads, bikes, tractors, kids, etc. He is a nice size horse that even taller people can feel comfortable on and is stunning under English or Western tack.
Jerry has dabbled in cow work and roping, and he’s even got CTR miles under his belt and has a Trail Riding Alberta Conference membership. He rides in a regular snaffle, bitless bridle or a bosal.
This gelding is an easy keeper and has big, solid hard black hooves – this boy has awesome feet and is great for the farrier. Jerry loads no problem into any trailer and is fine with a bath after hard work! Up to date on farrier, vaccinations, teeth and has a current coggins.
